I am Quantum Careers

People usually think careers begin with choices like subjects, majors, and applications. I believed they begin much earlier, with instinct. As kids, we’re constantly asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” Those answers are laughed off or forgotten. This campaign started from the opposite belief: that those answers, while not literal, reflect early mental patterns — how a child relates to people, power, creativity, structure, or curiosity.

"I Am” treated childhood voice as the starting point of career navigation.

The idea was simple and human. Put children in front of the camera. Ask one question. Let them answer without correction or interpretation. Not to predict their future job, but to listen to who they are already becoming.

The tone was intentionally documentary-style — inspired by campaigns like Dove’s Real Beauty, where truth is more important than production.

The campaign was designed to live across platforms.

• A short documentary-style film for YouTube, featuring multiple children answering the same question

• Still frames and short clips repurposed for Instagram and Facebook, letting each answer stand on its own

• A closing segment where the Quantum Careers founder explained how early inclinations evolve into long-term fulfillment, and why career guidance should listen before it instructs

I owned this project end-to-end. I pitched and shaped the core idea, defined the philosophy behind it, planned the rollout, and executed a working prototype. I personally scouted locations such as schools, playgrounds, and parks. As a proof of concept, I executed an early prototype at a government school, interviewing a small group of students. Even at a small scale, the honesty of the responses proved the emotional strength of the idea.
